The materials (aluminium, polycarbonate) used for the making of the AFIX frames and for the packaging (polyethylene, cardboard) are recyclable. They require a lesser quantity of raw manufacturing materials and less energy than the traditional framing solutions.
An A3-format AFIX poster-holder weighs between 150 and 200 grams depending on the profile chosen, whereas a snap frame weighs between 500 and 600 grams for the same size frame.
The AFIX frames are light and easy to dismantle, their packaging (raw material) and transport (volumes to be stocked, energy consumption) are lesser than those of traditional devices. By choosing AFIX poster-holders, you are opting for a greatly reduced impact on the environment as opposed to classical framing solutions.
